Five minutes off the avenue, and $200 to $500 covers every pane except the windshield. Along Stenton Avenue a large share of that work is on vehicles that earn money: sliding door glass on a panel van, rear barn-door windows, fixed side panes, bulkhead windows and cab quarter glass. The clock matters more than usual on these, so call 215-608-1108 early with the year, make, model and body style for an honest answer about same-day rather than an optimistic one.

Commercial glass is a different sourcing problem from car glass. A panel van comes in a dozen configurations from the same factory in the same year, with glazed or unglazed sliding doors, glazed or blank rear doors, a bulkhead window that may or may not be there, and left and right side panes that are not interchangeable. So the first job is establishing exactly which vehicle it is, and body style and door configuration do more of that work than the model name. Get it right and the pane usually lands quickly. Get it wrong and a van sits for another day, which is the actual cost.
The fit brings its own considerations on a working vehicle. Racking, shelving and ply lining often sit right up against the inside of the glass, so access has to be planned rather than discovered, and anything bolted across the opening may need to come off. Signwriting and vinyl around the aperture needs care during removal. And the clean-out is more than cosmetic: tempered cubes in a load area end up in whatever gets carried next, which for anyone delivering to customers is a problem beyond the vehicle itself. Tell us at booking whether the van is racked, lined or loaded and the visit gets planned around it.
“Called him in the morning, he called back and I went at lunch to get the window replaced. Fast, east for me. Excellent work, good price. Would use him again, no worries!”

The Stenton Avenue corridor runs a steady traffic of trade vehicles, and their glass breaks in trade ways rather than domestic ones: a strap end whipping back, a length of timber swung a foot too far, a reversing manoeuvre against a post in a tight yard, a ladder coming off a rack. What that changes is the priority order. A van standing still is costing somebody a day's work, so say on the first call when it needs to be back in service and you will be told plainly whether that is achievable. Because the shop is only a few minutes off the avenue, dropping a vehicle in first thing and collecting it before the afternoon is realistic for most of this work, provided the pane itself is available.
Same service, same price, other West Oak Lane neighborhoods:
Both, and commercial work is a regular part of the week here. Sliding door panes, rear barn-door glass, fixed side windows, bulkhead windows and cab quarter glass are all sourced the same way, from the year, make, model and body configuration, and quoted as one figure before anything is ordered. What is worth flagging at the booking is anything that affects access: interior racking, ply lining, a fitted-out load area, or a full load that would need to come out.
Usually, with care taken during removal, but it depends on the age and condition of the vinyl. Older graphics that have been on the vehicle for years become brittle and can lift at the edges when a pane is worked out of an aperture, and no amount of care makes brittle vinyl flexible again. Point out the graphics when you book so the removal is planned around them, and if the vinyl is old, expect an honest warning rather than a promise nobody can keep.
